I’m Raistlin van Spronsen, a speed skating coach and photographer. I specialize in portrait and event photography in Dawson Creek, BC
I was born in New Westminster, BC, and relocated to Dawson Creek, BC, when I was 11. I grew up in the speed skating community, so it was only natural that I accepted a coaching role with my local speed skating club.
The process begins when you first submit an inquiry for a session, simply fill out the contact form and we will connect with you within 24-48 hours
Once you’ve decided on a package, simply let us know and we will send you a direct link to our booking page. Once on the booking page you can select your desired package, date and time. Once that has been submitted you are automatically booked into our calendar
When booking your session, you will also be required to sign 3 contracts. Our general contract covers the terms and conditions of booking our services, the Release of Liability form clears us of any liability, and the retainer forms outlines the terms of our retainer (50% of your total invoice)
Once you receive your invoice, 50% is required to secure your session, the remaining 50% is required prior to final delivery.
You can pay your invoice by e-transfer, credit card or Debit (debit cards that are either Visa/Mastercard are accepted, please contact us for chip & PIN transactions)
Once you are confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation of your date and time. I’ll touch base to confirm the date and time and location for your session.
My sessions are laid back with equal collaboration between myself as the photographer and you as the client with input of different angles and spots for photos
After your session, we go through the images selecting the best ones. On average we shoot 200-300 images per session and lightly edit about 200 or so images for proofing.
Proofing is the process where you select your images as allotted by your package. Once your images are selected, I edit your selections for final delivery
